Baby, you tell me I'm a traveling man, and I'm betting it all on what I've got in my hands. You can have it all. If you don't mind taking it from me, I won't need it back, won't ask for anything. No, no I won't. In the night, we find ourselves on the road where the light we made draws us home. The hands they calm, with the rise and fall passed the paths we move on. Baby, you tell me I'm the only man who sees the people all around doing the best that they can to make things last. But they won't last. When all you know is all that you see, you never wonder what it is that makes a man so free. You only know when or how or why they get gone What are we doing here if we're not doing it right? We find ourselves on the road where the light we made draws us home. The hands they calm, with the rise and fall passed the paths we move on. We move on.

Junior 03:53
In your eyes I feel despair. My fingers running through your hair as I light up another cigarette, place these fingers on these frets and strum. But I'll never know what you want until you tell me. I hate to lie awake at night, thinking of all the chances I've missed in this life. Gone and lost forever. I hate to sit and wonder why the planets never do align for you, you and I. I come into my room, to find the sheets all curled around you. But you never say a word. And I should tell you everyday that I don't know what I'd do without you. I hate to lie awake at night, thinking of all the chances I've missed in this life. Gone and lost forever. I hate to sit and wonder why the planets never do align for you, you and I.

Cast Off 03:27
The lines are long, but the people they move so fast. Don't seem to know where they're headed, these victims may not last through all the feats that they will have to face outside these walls. Underpaid and unabashed. But I know that some people won't forget these days for what they are worth. For all you others, watch and learn. And when I cast off from this land, I'll think of the people who have shaped me and made me who I am. And when I cast off from this land, I'll think of the people who have saved me and made me who I am. So move slow, steady as she goes. No one knows when the curtains will close on you. You've got to be selfless, forget your regrets. Only you will hold the key. Only we hold the key. And when I cast off from this land, I'll think of the people who have saved me and made me who I am. And when I cast off from this land, I'll think of the people who have saved me and made me who I am. I don't want to be left alone. But sometimes alone's the only way to go. I don't want to be left alone. But sometimes… And when I cast off from this land, I'll think of the people who have saved me and made me who I am. And when I cast off from this land, I'll think of the people who have saved me and made me who I am.

Indiana 03:40
In Indiana, late one August day, the winds picked up, the sky began to turn a shade of gray. Unsuspecting victims gasp at what they see. The state fair stage collapsed, claiming the lives of three. And it's a wonder mother nature seems to fall apart with ease. And who would've thought so much destruction could come from a little breeze. The thoughts behind her actions are what she really means, so don't take it personally. She'll blow you away without a second thought. But you'll be alright. Will you be alright in the end? Your feet firm on the ground. There's no stopping it now. Thousands of pounds of steel came raining from the sky. Crashing down into the earth, like a hurricane in the night. People frantic, hoping to survive. The state fair stage collapsed, claiming the lives of five. And it's a wonder mother nature seems to fall apart with ease. And who would've thought so much destruction could come from a little breeze. The thoughts behind her actions are what she really means, so don't take it personally. She'll blow you away without a second thought. But you'll be alright. Will you be alright? Will you be alright with your hands held tight? Will you be alright?

The sound of shots in the winter breeze can bring a sane man to his knees. Listening, oh so swiftly, as his brother's forced to sleep. United we stand, divided they'll fall Junior will wish he hadn't gotten the call It's too late now, time is running out. The sun is slowly setting down. And now I'm starting to see, that no amount of war can make a man any stronger than the sleight that has been placed into his hands. Don't you worry, this will all be over soon. Or at least I hope. At night we lie awake, from the pills we have to take. Running blindly in the dark, so many fears we've yet to face. United we stood, divided they'll fall Junior's life ended in the hospital It's 3 A.M. and I'm at it again. Will these nightmares ever end? And now I'm starting to see, that no amount of war can make a man any stronger than the sleight that has been placed into his hands. Don't you worry, this will all be over soon. Or at least I hope.

We are standing upon a fallen tree. Forget about nature, your gods are gasoline and electricity. Your artificial light illuminates your life as counterfeit as your heart. But soon will come a day when you'll see the world for what it is I'm not the kind of man who stares straight through these empty faces on the wall. They all have a story to tell. Am I the only one who's watching what's being done to our home? Feels like I'm all alone. And it's the feeling that I get when I look into your eyes. Wandering through life without any surprises. So much time so wasted. If only you'd believe That soon will come a day when you'll see me for who I am. I'm not the kind of man who stares straight through these empty faces on the wall. They all have a story to tell. Am I the only one who's watching what's being done to our home? Feels like I'm all alone. And every time I turn around, there are so many faces that I've found searching for nothing. But if you just open your eyes, bring the world back down to size you'll find I'm not the kind of man who stares straight through these empty faces on the wall. They all have a story. I'm not the kind of man who stares straight through these empty faces on the wall. They all have a story to tell. Am I the only one who's watching what's being done to our home? Feels like I'm all alone.
